Dr Saba had the initial training in Damascus University where he did his Master Degree in Recurrent Miscarriage 1992 to 1996. He Moved to the UK 1997 to work in different NHS hospitals. He obtained the membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2000, where he had subspecialty training in Laparoscopic Surgeries, Fetal Medicine and Infertility.
Dr Saba moved to Western Australia in 2009 to work at PIVET Medical Centre and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist in 2010 and the Mater degree in Reproductive Medicine from UNSW.
He developed special interest in general wellness and did a course in fitness and finished a Master Degree in Public and Global Health. However, he is best know for his interest and expertise in reproductive immunology as he collaborated with Braverman IVF & Reproductive Immunology in New York. He was also mentioned in the latest edition of Dr Allan E. Beer's book "Is Your Body Baby-Friendly?"

Dr Atef Saba believes that it is important that patients should be an informed participant in their health care. He aims to provide care in a professional and relaxed manner where patients do not feel rushed but comfortable asking questions regarding their concerns.
